Cayucos is a lovely littel town on the Central coast of California, and Jenny and I were very fortunate to spend the day with Brian and Anitra. In addition to being two wonderful and good lookin’ people, they are also great friends of mine, and I have had the good fortune of knowing Brian for almost half of my life. It was a pleasure and an honor to attend their wedding… which almost didn’t happen. They chose their wedding date and when I found out I was booked…I paniced a little. And of course, started making irrational requests like “Please change you wedding date so I can be there!!” This is a swing-for-the-fence, hail-mary-pass, field-goal-from-your-own-35 type of move… and it totally worked. Anitra gave the okay, and I was able to see one of my best friends marry his best friend. I’ve told this story on my blog before, but it’s awesomeness bears repeating. I hope you enjoy my selections from their wedding last fall!

I was so stoked and fortunate to bring my wifey on this trip with me… that would have been a lonely car ride without you babe <3

Michelle and Ryan married at the Delta King last Fall, and had a cozy brunch with friends and family on the permanently docked ship-turned restaurant in Old Sacramento, CA.
Makeup was done by the lovely and talented Christi Reynolds…she is fantastic at what she does. And as an added bonus, she has a really soothing voice… perfect for a morning of nerves and anticipation (=

The Holiday Inn’s expansive main entrance was a fun place to do their first look…having red stairs to descend and a place for bridesmaids to sneek a peEk was awesome (= and yes, I capitalized that E for my friend Rashell at Invitations Ink.. those invitation girls are grammar police!
