Oh, hey everyone! You just remembered that I have a blog? yeah, me too. Time to get this puppy updated more frequently… I have SOOO much work to show you! Lets take a peek at Candace and Kresimir’s wedding at The Vizcaya in Downtown Sacramento, CA. Candace and Kresimir are from Manhattan, but they had family here in Sacramento, so they chose The Vizcaya as their venue to make it easier for everyone to attend. How sweet is that!!! Picture time!

Candace looking STUNNING on the Vizcaya grounds. The Vizcaya has many walls and textures that make for some great wedding photos!

I love how bright the ceremony/reception room is at the Vizcaya. Its one of the brightest of the Sacramento wedding venues, and the wedding photography is bathed in great light!!

We headed to the streets for some more urban wedding photos in downtown Sacramento. A huge contrast from the Vizcaya!

Half Moon Bay Oceano Hotel Wedding Photos

I had such a great time meeting up with Sarah Dawson at the Oceano Hotel in Half Moon Bay, CA to help her shoot an awesome fall wedding for Katie and Shadi!

The Bridal suite at the Oceano Hotel is probably one of the biggest in Half Moon Bay!! Perfect for Wedding Photos!

Love this wingman shot of the tie getting adjusted… T Minus a couple hours until they tie the knot at the Oceano Hotel!

There was a pumpkin Farm near the Oceano Hotel and we had a great time shooting autumn wedding photos around the pumpkins of Half Moon Bay!

Standing on the beach at Half Moon Bay, a short walk from the Oceano Hotel, Katie looked so happy! It was easy to take wedding photos of such a lovely bride!

Can’t wait until I can visit Half Moon Bay again… maybe a Stay at the Ritz-Carlton just to spice it up!!

A beautiful day for a wedding, and a wonderful couple. I really took pleasure in getting to know Jacklyn and Rick during our meetings and engagement sessions (part 1/part 2)They chose the Monte Verde Inn as their wedding venue for the atmosphere, the well-kept landscape, and the wonderful wedding program ran by Kelly Dalisa.

Hair and makeup was done by Lisa Sacco, and her delicate touch was perfect for making Jaclyn look gorgeous!

Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives, especially this part!

Old Sugar Mill Wedding Photography | Marc and Nicole

I loved shooting this wedding primarily because I love Marc and Nicole. Sure, the Old Sugar Mill is a premier wedding destination in Clarksburg, CA, but thats not what made the wedding photography so awesome.. It was these two, getting married to their best friends, and I felt so stoked to be there. The Old Sugar Mill is a great place for dramatic wedding photography, and we definitely took advantage!

San Ramon Country Club Wedding | Hannah and Jeff

San Ramon is a great little town in the Bay Area of California, and at the San Ramon Country Club, Hannah and Jeff fought a goose. Okay, there was also a lovely wedding on the edge of the water, near a big willow tree… but I swear there was a crazy goose and he was determined to ruin someones day. On to the photos! I decided this batch of wedding photos needed to be 90% black and white, and I’m pretty excited to show them to you, internet!

…..see what I mean?!?! Color was necessary here.

Morgan Creek Wedding Photography | Ericka and Chris

It was probably the most beautiful day that has ever shone down on Morgan Creek Country Club in a while… It was perfectly cloudy and still very sunny. It was warm outside, but not too warm. There was a slight breeze, but your hair wouldn’t get ruined… it was so nice, it made you want to do a backflip! This was Ericka and Kris’ wedding day!

The green hills and amber sun made Morgan Creek Country Club Wedding photos a breeze!

Joe Kalamaras of SJ Disc Jockey was the DJ for this party, and not onyl did he give me this awesome blue uplighting to work with.. he can turn your reception into a chair-riding party of awesomeness!!

Normally I don’t do any direct flash photos.. but for this particular shot, it didnt matter.. They were escaping via Limo, and a Paparazzi look was exactly what was needed here!

I had a blast being part of this day, and it was great to document this wedding…I’m so fortunate to have spent the day with Ericka and Kris!

Aly and Jake are my kind of clients… fun, easy going, and smiling by default. We had a great time at the Sacramento Marina doing their Downtown Sacramento engagement photos, and I can’t wait for their Old Sugar Mill Wedding this May!
