Joseph and Deanna have a flair for style. They love craft beer, vintage finds, and old brick. The Old Sugar Mill wedding venue outside of Sacramento had the right amount of modernized amenities while preserving its rustic charm, and they knew it was the perfect venue for them. I’ve photographed many weddings at the Old Sugar Mill, and each one adds something unique. The boiler room reception is always amazing and is the most popular reception spot after its renovation a few years ago. 
Joseph started his morning at the Citizen Hotel wedding venue, which is a popular spot for couples to get married or just to stay and get ready for a nearby wedding. Citizen hotel wedding photos are amazing and we used the luxury hotel rooms and windows to make some confident portraits of Joseph before his first look photos at the Old Sugar Mill.
Deanna and her bridesmaids got ready at the Old Sugar Mill bridal suite, one of the nicer suites that I’ve worked in amongst the other sacramento wedding venues. Big windows, nice decor, and an honest to goodness salon chair!
